As Herra Nutz has been quick to imply, I may be working for a grander re-evaluation of (a new view at) the great old tingeltangel-man – as expanded a bit in this new plan for a book of essays on Finnish poetical tradition by me. Digging myself deeper in the folds of my local backyard has been one reason for my ample absence lately – but not the only one, as witnessed by my writing this at rue de la Glaciére, 13e arrondissement, Paris, France, for reasons I will be slow to reveal, though…
